Yeah, that's true. In the end the patient always dies. There's only been a few cases known world-wide of people who cured aids out of their bodies, and they were probably just extremely lucky. Or they believed in being able to cure SO hard, their body eventually cooperated with their mind and they were cured. It's unbelievable what the human body can do with just a bit of strenght, want and luck. It may sound a bit weird to say this, though I know I'm not lying when I say that human beings can do everything. Absolutely everything. :3

You're right. It does feel painful to know that you have everything and more, while other people out there are dying just because they have NOTHING at all. And then the little things to bother out lifes, sometimes lead to suicide, even though you know there will always be days in our life when things go a bit less fantastic, and that eventually everything will go much better. No one we know, no member of our family, will ever die a death more than half of world population will in Africa or other less prosperous parts of our world.

... gee, I feel a lot like a priest now. Saying these things without actually doing anything. Though there isn't exactly anything we CAN do anyway. I mean, I don't think either of us will ever change the world by stopping all hunger.
Yeah, sure, we can donate money to those groups who tell us they'll do something to make the world a better place, but I don't think I've seen a lot of improvements through the fifteen years I've spent on this planet by now. We never know where that money will go. And something tells me it's not always Africa.

Hey, you're not, like, ranting or something. It's true, AIDS and Cancer are horrible because even if you visit all the therapies(sp?), you must die in the end. It must be so horrible for the people you have it, to see they're life falling apart...(now THAT was rant, with a sense of tragedy )
Yeah well it can't be that there is no medicine at all against it, there's just gotta be a way or something! If I was good in stuff like science, I'd surely try and find something. But all I'm kinda good at is languages, and that's all. It can be depressing sometimes, watching all the pain and suffering all over the world and being unable to stop it.

Is it the same with you, that you sometimes feel kinda guilty just because of your living conditions? I mean- I have, like, EVERYTHING, food and clothes and friends and strict, but loving parents and so on, and some people have nothing at all. It's a horrible feeling, having such a good life and yet keeping feeling sad because of problems in my life that aren't even big at all...

Ah well, I'm doing it again. No need to feel down today: My sister celebrates her 18th birthday! I wanna have fun today!! Thanks for feeling with me and my neighbors, and thanks for answering!!

Yeah, well, I wish I could do something to help them, too. Nothing makes you feel more powerless than death or disease.

I'm sorry about your neighbor and the entire history of his family... Cancer is... about the worst thing this planet knows. There's nothing we can do to stop it, neither anything we can do to cure it so. Yeah, there's chemo, pet scans and a heck lot of extra medication to "cure" a patient, sure, but in the end all of that only leads to more pain and suffering. If there's something I'd be glad to give my life for, it's to put an end to cancer. That disease has taken too many lifes for a way too long time.
... listen to me rant. I'm just really into cancer/hospital hate lately. Hospital hate because they killed my cousin, cancer hate because everyone has lost a member of the family to cancer before.
That's why I've finally picked up writing again. Something against gay hate, and to express what a disaster cancer can be. I know no one will actually be like... touched, or something, by the story, but at least I can try. I've been told to be pretty good at writing before, so I might as well give it a shot. :3

Aack, I get that. Real friends are mostly just... not as open for conversations as a perfect stranger can be sometimes.

I apologize for the rant. I'll just get back at writing now
